Oxalic Acid for Insulator Cleaning
Oxalic Acid for Insulator Cleaning

12-ounce container of Savogran oxalic acid (wood bleach).

Many collectors find this to be an indispensable tool for removing train soot and the very toughest dirt and grime from glass insulators. Once mixed, the oxalid acid bath can be used to clean many insulators.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: If you have never used oxalic acid to clean insulators before, read the helpful instructions at www.insulators.info very carefully before you begin.

Do not use oxalic acid to clean carnival glass, flashed amber, or opalescent insulators as it will damage the coating. Use Lye instead for those surfaces. Also, there have been reports that oxalic acid can damage certain Tel Fed Mex insulators. Additional information is available by clicking here.

DISCLAIMER: The Insulator Store is not responsible for misuse, accidents, or damage to insulators, resulting from use of this product.
